2016 cru X Rosé

VQA ONTARIO VQA

Our expression of summertime or anytime fun! A blend / blush of 51% exclusive vineyard Pinot Noir with 49% Vidal grown adjacent to the Pinot Noir. A variation from year to year due to varying conditions and blend percentages.  Truly unique, dry with subtle strawberry and citrus notes. Mouth watering freshness and a structured finish. Great enjoyed alone or anytime you’re in need of sunshine, or chilled for on the beach. Serve alone or with Portuguese Chicken Peri Peri (for recipe see Food & Drink LCBO magazine early summer issue).

2016 cru X Pinot Noir

VQA Prince Edward County VQA

A dark ruby shade reflecting the dry, hot 2016 vintage. Pinot Noir bouquet of cherries and dark fruits. Palate: mid-weight, feminine but with powerful underlying tannic structure and elegance with a long finish. Great paired with rabbit gnocchi.  Drink 2017-2025+.

2013 Chardonnay - "the Blessed"

2016 Lt. Governor's Award for Excellence in Ontario Wine

GOLD MEDAL WINNER at the 2015 National Wine Awards of Canada (The Nationals)

Tiny Exultet of Prince Edward County has been on my radar since the late 2000s, and it has won copious major competition awards. The consistency is remarkable; with Gerry Spinosa reading his hand-hewn 10-acre site near Milford superbly, then overlaying his winemaking in a way that impresses so many. This is fairly 'oaky' - with fetching "werthers butterscotch" atop peachy fruit but his site delivers such mineral-driven elegance as a counterpoint that it's hard to resist. This shows classic County acidity and almost brunt minerality. The length is excellent indeed. Tasted June 2015.   91 pts

This  “Blessed” Chardonnay, bottled earlier this year, is beautiful, citrusy and lively. Best enjoyed in a year or so, or now with decanting and letting it breathe for an hour. Ageable for  5+ years. A treasure for those who love Exultet’s Chardonnays and know how much is put into them.

2013 Dolce Ghiacciato Vidal Icewine

VQA PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY VQA

Nutty almond, nectarine, and pineapple - not cloying. Delicious way to end a meal  - serve alone or with cheese. The only true icewine made in Prince Edward County – one of a kind!

2014 Royal Road Recipe

This is a dry white wine made from 100% locally grown apples. The aromatic nose of apples is accompanied on the palate by a very dry and crisp finish. Serve chilled. Makes for a refreshing patio sipper. Great with appetizers, summer salads and an awesome pairing with pork dishes.

2016 Royal Road (Fortified Apple Wine)

A lovely fortified dessert wine also made from local PEC apples. Not too sweet with caramel notes.

2016 "The Beloved" Pinot Noir

VQA Prince Edward County VQA

This single clone estate grown Pinot Noir is richly colored with dark ruby hues. Rich herbal fruit compote with oak barrel smokiness. Palate of herbal richness balanced by vanilla and dense dark fruit character (so 2016!). Supremely gifted with dark chocolate and coffee, balancing all on a mid to heavy weight frame. Exciting – covers all the bases. A supreme Pinot from Exultet. Drink 2017-2015+

Exultet is a small, hands-on, family-run operation from vineyard to bottle. Our goal is to make the most elegant expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that this land is capable of. To make a wine that says by its taste that it comes from our particular vineyards. Wine that exults!
